Stocks Ended Higher, Recovered from US-Iran Concerns

U.S. stocks ended higher on Monday, after US-Iran conflict selloff. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 68.50 points, or 0.24%, to 28,703.38. The S&P 500 added 11.43 points, or 0.35%, to 3,246.28. The Nasdaq Composite gained 50.70 points, or 0.56%, to 9,071.46.

Oil prices climbed on Monday, with U.S. benchmark crude prices settling their highest in eight months in the wake of Friday’s killing of Iranian Gen. West Texas Intermediate crude for February delivery tacked on 22 cents, or about 0.4%, so settle at $63.527 a barrel. March Brent crude added 31 cents, or about 0.5%, at $68.91 a barrel.
