U.S. stocks ended higher on Wednesday, with tech stocks leading market rally, as investors awaited election results. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 367.63 points, or 1.34%, to 27,847.66. The S&P 500 added 74.28 points, or 2.20%, to 3,443.44. The Nasdaq Composite soared 430.21 points, or 3.85%, to 11,590.78.
Oil futures tallied a third straight climb Wednesday, brushing off an uncertain outcome in the U.S. presidential election, as investors focused on a hefty weekly decline in U.S. crude supplies.
