On Oct. 30, 2018, AECOM announced that the U.S. Department of Energy has executed a 12-month contract extension to Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS), an AECOM-led joint venture with Atkins Nuclear Secured, LLC. The approximate US$700-million extension will run from October 1, 2018, to September 20, 2019.
