On July 6, 2017, HSN, Inc. and Liberty Interactive Corporation jointly announced that they had entered into an agreement whereby Liberty will acquire the approximately 62% of HSN, Inc. it does not already own in an all-stock transaction.

The company reported net sales decreased 5% for the third quarter of 2017, including the negative impact of Hurricane Irma of an estimated $13 million, or 1.6%. HSNI’s digital sales penetration increased 90 basis points to 53.6%.
