Stock Closed at Records as Tech Led Gains

U.S. stocks closed at records on Friday, led by gains for technology shares as investors looked past a weaker-than-expected May jobs report. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 62.11 points, or 0.29%, to 21,206.29. The S&P 500 was up 9.01 points, or 0.37%, to 2,349.07. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 58.97 points, or 0.94%, to 6,305.80. The Dow finished the week up 0.6%, the S&P 500 advanced 1%, and the Nasdaq gained 1.5%.

Oil ended Friday at its lowest level in more than three weeks, with futures suffering the largest weekly loss in a month. July West Texas Intermediate crude slid 70 cents, or 1.5%, to settle at $47.66 a barrel. August Brent declined by 68 cents, or 1.3%, to $49.95 a barrel.
