Frontier Communications Corp Moving Toward Expansion

Frontier Communications Corp (NASDAQ:FTR) has been moving towards expansion. The company has recently declared that its Satellite Broadband will now be available in Valparaiso. The company has provided the residents and small businesses with greater speed and capacity of its Broadband network.

 Frontier Communications reported its 3Q2012 earnings with its operating income increasing to $275.2 million up 52.6% year over year (Y/Y), driven by reducing depreciation and amortization expenses, although it reported total revenue of $1,252.5 million, down by 3% Y/Y. Frontier is still one of the best dividend-paying Telecom Company in the sector. It announced a dividend yield of 8.80% ($0.10 per share).

Shares of Frontier Communications Corp are trading at $4.41. It is little below its 100-day Moving Average price of $4.42 and above its 250-day Moving Average price of $4.23.  Technically, it has been showing support around $4.14 and resistance in the $4.76 price range. MACD (12,26) and RSI(14) are  increasing. The overall technical indicator shows a buy with the $5.56 target price in six months.
