What Zoellick said in an interview with Bloomberg Television

“We are moving into a dangerous period and I think we now see the particularly sensitive time in the Euro zone. ” World Bank President Robert Zoellick said in an interview with Bloomberg Television in Singapore today.

” The number of issues are converging. In the summer, what you started to see was market losing confidence that political leadship in Europe has program to deal with not only the short term issues but fundamental issues. I think that until countries have set a course for controlling medium-long term spending that fiscal stimuate won’t give you much.”

“I believe the united states will have slow growth. I don’t believe it will move to a double dip, but these things are very hard to predict because if you have events trigger uncertainty in Europe, that will flow back to United States.”
