Stocks Ended Mixed, Oil Future Settled Higher

U.S. stocks ended higher on Friday as investors parsed a round of corporate results, economic data and the spread of coronavirus. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 25.23 points, or 0.09%, to 29,398.08. The S&P 500 gained 6.22 points, or 0.18%, to 3,380.16. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 19.21 points, or 0.20%, to 9,731.18.

Oil futures settled higher on Friday to score a weekly gain. West Texas Intermediate crude for March delivery rose 63 cents, or 1.2%, to settle at $52.05 a barrel, while April Brent crude settled 98 cents, or 1.7%, higher at $57.32 a barrel.
