Stocks Ended Lower amid Growth Concerns

U.S. stocks ended lower on Wednesday, as concerns over slowing global growth outweighed optimism over a reading on domestic trade pointing to a slimmer deficit at the start of the year. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 32.14 points, or 0.13%, to 25,625.59. The S&P 500 fell 13.09 points, or 0.46%, to 2,805.37. The Nasdaq Composite shed 48.15 points, or 0.63%, to 7,643.38.

Oil finished lower on Wednesday after a U.S. government report revealed a weekly increase in domestic crude supplies. West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery fell 53 cents, or 0.9%, to $59.41 a barrel. May Brent crude lost 14 cents, or 0.2%, to $67.83 a barrel.
